A Social Weekend

We have been busy this weekend! Craig had Saturday off so the boys and I headed out early to ALL (3!) garage sales listed in our local area. We were hoping to find furniture but came up empty-handed on that front. We did, however, come home with a swag of great garden tools - even a sledgehammer!

We had a lovely dinner with the Clem Family - delicious pizzas and peach crumble! It was great for our kids to meet their kids (I had met the Clems a year ago when Craig and I flew over to check out the job) and they had a blast running around together.

Sunday morning saw us headed for church at the local Baptist church that Craig has been attending for the last 10 months. There were lots of friendly people, welcoming smiles and excited kids! Our kids fit in straight away and can't wait to go back next week!

We rounded out the weekend with dinner at the Masters' house... lamb roast! It was wonderful! We took along an apple pie (Spiced Apple Pie on Spelt Pastry with Crumble Topping) and some  homemade vanilla bean ice-cream to share. :)

We have now been on the EP (that would be Eyre Peninsula for all you non-locals!) for a whole week and are slowly finding our feet. :)
The sun sets on our first week on the EP
