ABC's - Apricots, Burritos and Creepy-Crawlies

Today was another quiet day. We had a pest man come to rid our house of the hundreds of redback spiders that were calling it 'home'... hopefully, it will be effective and quick! I have never seen so many and such big redbacks as those that awaited our arrival here!

Mexican was the order of the evening - burritos (on organic mountain bread tonight as we were short on time to make our own tortillas - I have been using the recipe found here or an adaptation of it lately) and tacos as per the kids' requests.

Brett & Tania have a tree overflowing with apricots and gave us a HUGE bucket full of apricots (among other garden-fresh produce!) so we have been busy using them up! Tonight we made an apricot frangipane for dessert - YUM!
