Yes, we have had another weekend of socialising! This is starting to become a habit! Not that I mind... :)
We enjoyed our evening last night with the Clem's - the kids ran wild and the adults behaved like civilised creatures. :)
Craig had to work on Saturday morning so the kids and I headed out to the Eyre Peninsula Fishermen and Farmer's Markets. It wasn't quite what we expected, but we had a great time just hanging out together. We did find a stall of lamb smallgoods (pepperoni, salami, etc) that were fantastic and we brought some home to use on pizza, etc. The kids ripsticked along the water's edge and climbed trees until Craig finished work. We headed to the hardware store to get a few items and then came home.
L made our famous Armenian Nutmeg Cake to take to dinner at the Hawke's house on Saturday night and we had a fantastically fun time getting to know the Hawke family. Lisa made a beautiful curry that was devoured by all!
We went to church on Sunday and then proceeded to participate in 'the great child swap'. The boys headed to various friends' houses and the girls each invited a friend to spend the afternoon with us! We were spontaneously and generously invited around to the Johnston's house for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to spend some time with this lovely family.
Well, we've now been on the EP two weeks... and getting to know a bunch of great people!
